Deputy Director invited to speak at CogX Global Leadership Summit and Festival of AI & Breakthrough Technology

Dr Adrian Bevan, deputy director of the Institute, has been invited to present his research at this year's CogX Global Leadership Summit and Festival of AI & Breakthrough Technology. This is a national event and a forward thinking gathering of leaders, CEOs, entrepreneurs, policy makers, artists, academics and activists, addressing the question "How do we get the next 10 years right?"

Other speakers include Magdalena Skipper, Editor in Chief of Nature, Sir Mark Walport, Chief Executive at UKRI and author Hannah Fry in Conversation with Professor Dame Wendy Hall, Regius Professor of Computer Science at the University of Southampton.

Adrian's talk is entitled 'Machine Learning in Physics – using large datasets in the unknown' and is scheduled for Day 2 of CogX on Tuesday 9th June, at 12:30pm.

Online Streaming of the 16 Stages of CogX content will be filmed Live, ‘as-live’ or on-demand presentations. The event runs from Monday 8th - Wednesday 10th June 2020
