IADS PhD Student Forum - Launch

19 January 2021

We are launching the IADS PhD Student Forum initiative today.

The IADS PhD Student Forum is the PhD student branch of IADS. It is organized by PhD students for PhD students, spanning all faculties at QMUL.

The current advancements of AI and machine learning have changed the way we tackle research problems. We believe that data science can contribute to a wide variety of disciplines including, but not limited to, computer science, mathematics, social sciences, physics, medicine and biological sciences. Our aim is to provide PhD students from all data science-related disciplines with an open space for collaborative research, learning, and above-all having fun finding new friends.

The IADS PhD Student Forum consists of a series of events and talks by PhD students for PhD students. Talks include a broad range of topics under the umbrella of data science research. Students from all schools of the QMUL are welcome to join and present their research.
